Job Title: Manual & Automation Tester (API Testing)

Job Summary

Manual & Automation Tester with strong API testing experience

Key Responsibilities

Perform
manual testing
including functional, regression, and exploratory testing for APIs and web applications
Design, execute, and maintain
API test cases
for REST and SOAP services using tools such as
Postman
Validate API responses, request payloads, headers, and status codes (JSON/XML)
Develop and maintain
automation test scripts
for APIs and UI using
Selenium WebDriver
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like
Jira
, and collaborate with development teams for resolution
Participate in
Agile ceremonies
such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Prepare and share
test execution reports
, defect metrics, and quality status updates
Ensure adherence to quality standards and best testing practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–3 years
of experience in
Manual and Automation Testing
Strong experience in
API Testing
(REST & SOAP)
Hands-on experience with
Postman
for API validation
Experience in
Selenium WebDriver
for UI automation
Basic to intermediate programming knowledge in
Java, Python, or JavaScript
Working knowledge of
SQL
for database validation
Familiarity with
SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Experience with
defect tracking tools
such as Jira
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
