.This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications and cloud-based solutions using Python, Flask, and AWS services. You will work on complex, high-impact projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement features, optimize performance, and ensure reliability. The position involves both hands-on development and engagement with architecture discussions, providing a chance to influence the technical direction of key projects. This role blends remote work flexibility with periodic hybrid collaboration in major office locations, allowing you to balance focus-driven coding with team interaction. Ideal candidates are experienced in full lifecycle development, cloud deployments, and modern backend architectures.
Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based web applications using Flask framework
- Design and implement cloud solutions leveraging AWS services for scalability and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Optimize application performance, implement security best practices, and troubleshoot issues in production environments
- Contribute to architecture design, code reviews, and technical documentation
- Participate in deployment pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and DevOps practices
- Mentor junior developers and share best practices across the team
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in Python development, preferably with Flask
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including compute, storage, database, and deployment solutions
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and web application architectures
- Familiarity with database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and deployment automation
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a hybrid team environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-team coordination
