About The Role

We are looking for a skilled

Python/FastAPI Developer

with strong experience in building scalable data-driven web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in

Python (Pandas)

for data processing, exposure to

PySpark/Databricks

for distributed workloads. Experience in

user authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and backend security

is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
  • Implement and optimize data processing pipelines using Python (pandas) and PySpark.
  • Integrate APIs with front-end components for smooth end-to-end workflows.
  • Build secure authentication and authorization modules (OAuth2, JWT, Azure AD, etc.).
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and data engineering teams.
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python and libraries like pandas, NumPy, and requests.
  • Experience in FastAPI or similar frameworks (Flask, Django REST).
  • Good understanding of REST API design, versioning, and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).
  • Familiarity with SQL and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience in implementing user authentication, RBAC, and API security.
  • Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Good to Have

  • Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
  • Knowledge of Databricks platform and Azure Data Services.
  • Working knowledge of ReactJS for UI development and integration.
  • Understanding of event-driven architectures and microservices.
