Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services, APIs, and tools that power our travel platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Python.
• Develop RESTful APIs to support web and mobile platforms.
• Integrate with third-party travel APIs (e.g., flight, hotel, booking engines).
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product teams to implement new features.
• Optimize application performance and data flow for a smooth user experience.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Proficiency in working with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, preferably in travel/booking domain.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of web security principles and scalable architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the travel tech or e-commerce domain.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
