We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer with 5–10 years of hands-on experience to join our offshore development team. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, self-driven, and capable of both writing high-quality code and providing technical leadership to junior developers. This role will involve active participation in coding, architecture design, code reviews, and deployment in AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reusable Python code.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Python frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Django).
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases for data modeling, query optimization, and integration.
• Design and implement AWS serverless solutions, including Lambda functions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Participate in architectural discussions and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Manage and deploy applications in AWS cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5–10 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Deep understanding of REST API design and development.
• Strong hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Proficient in AWS Services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Experience working with Docker and version control systems like Git.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
• Leadership experience in supervising junior or mid-level developers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Exposure to front-end integration (React or Vue.js) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Prior experience in startups or product-based development is advantageous.
