We focus on innovation and delivering high-quality digital products that make a difference. About the Role: We are looking for a Backend Development Lead with expertise in Python and Azure Cloud. This role involves leading a team of developers, building scalable applications, designing cloud-based architectures, and creating Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new technology solutions. Your Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, ensuring best coding practices. Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI). Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for efficient system communication. Architect and deploy applications on Azure Cloud, leveraging services like Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure DevOps. Ensure applications can handle large amounts of data and traffic efficiently. Manage and optimize databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, or CosmosDB. Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.). Develop and test new ideas (POCs) to evaluate the best technical solutions. Work with DevOps teams to automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep). Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance. What You Need: ✅ Strong experience in backend development using Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI). ✅ Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services (Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, CosmosDB, etc.). ✅ Experience leading a development team and managing projects. ✅ Expertise in designing and managing APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures. ✅ Strong database experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or CosmosDB. ✅ Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. ✅ Ability to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) and evaluate new technology solutions. ✅ Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
