Python Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with around 2 years of hands-on experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable Python-based applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Python applications and backend services
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data storage and retrieval
• Debug, optimize, and improve application performance
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Implement security and data protection measures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in Python development
• Strong understanding of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Experience with REST APIs and web services
• Proficiency in databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of Docker and basic CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
