Python Backend Developer

As a Python Backend Developer at our rapidly growing fintech product company, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Designing and developing robust backend services using Python, specifically with Flask or FastAPI frameworks - Building and integrating RESTful APIs for both internal and external systems - Implementing asynchronous task processing using RabbitMQ or equivalent technology - Writing optimized SQL queries and working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL - Collaborating effectively with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers - Debugging, testing, and enhancing existing applications for improved performance and scalability - Ensuring a clean, maintainable, and testable codebase by following best practices - Participating actively in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and technical planning In order to excel in this role, the following qualifications and skills are required: - 3 to 4 years of experience in backend development using Python - Proficiency in Flask or FastAPI frameworks - Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or other message queues - Strong understanding of REST API design principles - Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL - Familiarity with version control systems like Git and Agile methodologies - Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Additionally, the following skills would be preferred: - Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB - Basic knowledge of Docker and microservices architecture - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP - Familiarity with the fintech or trade finance domain Join us in our mission to simplify Trade Finance and Supply Chain operations through innovation, automation, and secure digital workflows.
