Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend services using Python (Flask or FastAPI)
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external systems
• Implement asynchronous task processing using RabbitMQ or equivalent
• Write optimized SQL queries and work with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers
• Debug, test, and enhance existing applications for better performance and scalability
• Ensure clean, maintainable, and testable codebase using best practices
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical planning
  

Required Skills

• 3 to 4 years of experience in backend development using Python
• Proficiency in Flask or FastAPI frameworks
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or other message queues
• Strong understanding of REST API design principles
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile methodologies
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Basic knowledge of Docker and microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with the fintech or trade finance domain is a plus
