About the Role

IB PYP Homeroom Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons based on the IB PYP curriculum framework.
• Create a stimulating classroom culture that encourages inquiry, collaboration, and critical thinking.
• Support students academic, emotional, and social development.
• Assess and document student learning through formative and summative assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design transdisciplinary Units of Inquiry (UoIs).
• Maintain effective communication with parents and actively engage in parent-teacher interactions.
• Participate in school activities, IB workshops, and continuous professional development.
• Uphold the philosophy and standards of the International Baccalaureate (IB) community.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Education (B.Ed. / M.Ed. preferred).

• 3–5 years of teaching experience as a Homeroom Teacher

   in IB PYP or international schools.

• IB PYP Category Workshop (Mandatory).

• Strong knowledge of IB philosophy, framework, and inquiry-based learning methodology.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and collaborative skills.
• Strong passion for student-centered learning and holistic education.
