Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Procurement Engineer with 8–10 years of experience in purchasing capital equipment and systems for pharmaceutical projects. The role involves end-to-end procurement of machines, utilities, and equipment, vendor evaluation and development, contract negotiation, and ensuring timely project deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure pharmaceutical machines, equipment, and utilities as per project requirements.
• Conduct technical evaluations and support vendor selection and qualification processes.
• Manage procurement cycle including RFQ, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Coordinate vendor inspections (FAT) and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate their performance regularly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, BD, Projects, Supply Chain) for smooth execution.
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives in procurement.
• Present vendor evaluation reports and ensure alternate vendor readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate in Engineering from a recognized institute.
• 8–10 years of experience in procurement for pharmaceutical/engineering projects.

Key Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of pharma process machinery and capital purchases.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in supplier development, risk management, and strategic sourcing.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver within timelines.
