Job Description

Role               - Purchase Manager (Fire Safety Industry)

Role

Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely deliveries.

Maintain and update purchase records, quotations, and inventory logs.

Coordinate with the engineering and project execution teams for material requirements.

Ensure compliance with company standards, quality, and budgetary constraints.

Develop cost-reduction strategies without compromising on quality.

Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and best prices.

Prepare purchase orders and follow up with vendors for dispatch and delivery schedules.

Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

Key Skills:


Knowledge of fire safety industry components and suppliers

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software (e.g., Tally, ERP)

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
