Position :- Manager-Secondary Packaging Materials.Location : Bangalore

Roles And Responsibility

Purchase of Secondary & Tertiary packaging materials of around Rs 700 Croresannual spend (CBBs, Mono Cartons & SRPs, Trays of different substrates, BreadPolybags, Convenience packs-Flow Wraps, Tins, PET Jars, BOPP tapes etc).Timely Pricing closure Secondary packaging materials & Tertiary packing materialsas per the organization policy. Complete the background working of RFQ, Follow upswith suppliers for submission, conducting the Auction/Negotiations with suppliers.Finalization of SOBs in consultation with the Operations team to drive SOB of lowcost suppliersFollow up on deliveries, criticalities etc to ensure timely supplies along with Regionalteam.Identification of new potential suppliers in each of the sub categories. . Liaise withPackaging R&D and Central Quality Assurance team for quicker development andonboarding of new suppliers.Newness Management :- Development of new SKUs which are managed centrally ontime (within lead time). Liaise with Packaging R&D and Suppliers for the same.Quality improvement programme for reducing quality rejections and complaints inCBB, Tray and other materialsWork on market intelligence and understanding of different market forces affectingthe prices.Automation :- Work on various Automation projects under purview in SecondaryPackaging materials.Connects :- R&D Packaging, Central Quality Assurance, Planning, RegionalProcurement Ops Team, Suppliers, IT TeamSkills Expectations :-MBA from Tier I or II instituteExperience : 1-3 yearsExposure in handling CBB (Corrugated Board Boxes) or other Secondary PackingMaterials will be prefredShould be able to handle and navigate through complex and challengingrequirements and should take a solution oriented approach to manoeuvre the CFTteam suitably.Knowledge of SAP MM Module
