Purchase Manager

As a Purchase Manager at Austro Chemicals & Biotechnologies Pvt. Ltd., located in Tiruppur, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing purchasing strategies aligned with company goals. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with company goals - Forecast demand and plan for future procurement needs - Build and nurture relationships with suppliers - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms - Manage the purchasing budget and identify cost-saving opportunities - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams - Oversee the creation and processing of purchase orders - Conduct market analysis on trends, pricing, and new suppliers - Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry standards - Collaborate with departments such as production, logistics, and finance Qualifications: - Education: Graduate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or certifications like CPSM or CPM is required. CA certification is a plus. - Experience: Age should be above 45 with 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally in a managerial or leadership role. Skills: - Strong negotiation and communication skills - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge: - Deep understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management - Familiarity with market trends and product sourcing - Knowledge of compliance regulations and procurement best practices Certifications (Preferred): - Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
