Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of goods and services essential for our operations. The ideal candidate will handle vendor sourcing, negotiations, purchase order management, and inventory coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation and records of purchases.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery and follow-up with suppliers on delays or issues.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
• Coordinate with internal departments (inventory, finance, production, etc.) to assess supply needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to maintain inventory without overstocking.
• Evaluate supplier performance and develop improvement strategies for underperforming vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and legal regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role. Experience in [industry-specific] procurement is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Time management and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
