Purchase Executive

Job Profile: Purchase Executive (Preferred industry - IT, AV, Hardware)

Job Summary:
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services required by the company at the best possible rates and quality. The role involves vendor management, cost control, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers/vendors.
• Request and compare quotations to achieve cost-effective purchases.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Issue purchase orders and track order status until delivery.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse teams for replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards in procurement.
• Develop and maintain healthy relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Coordinate with internal departments (production, finance, logistics) for procurement needs.
• Prepare regular reports on purchase activities, cost savings, and vendor performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement (freshers can be considered for entry-level).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle preferred).
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
