Purchase Executive

Job Summary: The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for the engineering projects. They ensure timely procurement at the best possible prices while maintaining quality standards and fostering good supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders based on project requirements with domestic & overseas vendors as well as principal company ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Coordinate with the engineering and project teams to understand material specifications and requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Track order status and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier details.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
• Resolve any issues related to procurement, such as delays or quality concerns.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations periodically.
• Prepare and issue delivery challans for the sub-contracting items.
• Should have exposer of basic material planning based on continuous production planning.
• Knowledge of GST, custom clearance and other taxations is must.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement software and MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good understanding of engineering drawing, materials and technical specifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
