Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines. Source mechanical parts, equipment, raw materials, and tools required for production or projects. Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with vendors. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse to manage stock efficiently. Ensure all purchased items meet the required technical specifications and quality standards. Work closely with the engineering and production teams to understand material requirements. Maintain and update vendor database and procurement records. Assist in cost reduction initiatives and improve procurement efficiency. Handle procurement documentation and support audits.
