Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage direct purchase of raw materials and components for automotive parts.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Release of PO to suppliers on time to avoid line stoppage due to shortage of material.
Quotation calling and negotiation with vendors to optimize costs and improve profitability.
Responsible for preparing Purchase Order as and when required.
New development items follow up with suppliers.
Coordination with suppliers and CFT for commercial and technical activity.

Desired Candidate Profile

2-5 years of experience in material procurement or related field (automotive industry preferred).
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) in Automobile or Mechanical stream.
Strong understanding of IATF 16949, costing, BOP (Bill of Processing), project and vendor development principles.
