Role & responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities of the position: Supplier Management
Understanding the project and business needs Identification of right supplier base Prepare selection of capable vendors and execution of RFQs based on technical specifications Negotiation with suppliers for the right price Should have thorough knowledge on cost break down analysis for respective commodities Releasing the Purchase order with right contractual terms and tracking for delivery Ensure QCD targets achievement, CONQ (Cost Of Non Quality) & claims management Respect Hydac code of ethics and guidelines Project/Site Support & Co-ordination

Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
Challenge new gaps compared to tender commitments, incorporates Return on Experience, escalate if any critical delay is occurring in specification availability Ensures effective co-operation between various service team and Sourcing/production to meet the organization goals

Preferred candidate profile

Good commodity Knowledge in Mechanical /Electrial parts/Properitory (Valves/pumps/Motors/Seals/Casting) Purchasing Experience in Hydraulic industries will be an added advantage Experience in Supplier Development /Supplier relationship management Experience in handling sub suppliers and expediting deliveries Excellent written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, and ability to adapt to company specific systems(ERP) Excellent written and spoken command of English,spoken comand of Tamil and Hindi Mandatory Moderation and Presentation abilities Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment Detail oriented, with strong organizational, time management, interpersonal skills
