Job Description

Procurement & Material Management Lead

Major responsibilities will be:

Source civil, housekeeping, paints, carpentry, and administrative materials ensuring best cost, quality, and delivery.
Conduct local market visits and procure materials as and when required to meet urgent or project-specific needs.
Develop, evaluate, and rate vendors; manage contracts and purchase order execution.
Track market trends, cost drivers, and government policies affecting material availability and pricing.
Perform cost, ROI, and V.E.D. analysis for inventory optimization and control.
Identify and manage disposal of obsolete and non-moving stock.
Ensure timely vendor payments and adherence to purchase order terms.
Maintain SAP-MM data accuracy and generate reports and presentations.
Align procurement strategies with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Skills & Qualifications includes:

Graduate/Diploma in Commerce or any stream.
0-5 years of experience in plant or indirect procurement.
Proficient in SAP-MM, MS Office, and e-sourcing platforms.
Strong negotiation, costing, and vendor management capabilities.
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
