Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Engineer (Mechanical) at our facility located in Ahmedabad. The Purchase Engineer will be responsible for handling the purchasing processes, managing purchase orders, planning procurement activities, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of required materials and equipment. The role also involves analyzing supplier performance, maintaining relationships with vendors, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Planning to execute efficient procurement strategies.
• Strong skills in handling Purchase Orders and ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Excellent Analytical Skills to evaluate suppliers, costs, and procurement data for performance and improvement.
• Knowledge of inventory management processes and experience in vendor negotiations is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant purchasing and ERP software is an advantage.
