Role Overview: As a Purchasing Coordinator in our fast-paced manufacturing environment, your role is crucial in ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies required for production. You will be responsible for coordinating the purchasing process to meet production needs efficiently and cost-effectively. Your key responsibilities will include: - Coordinating the purchasing process to meet production needs efficiently and cost-effectively - Processing purchase orders based on production schedules and inventory levels - Liaising with vendors for quotes, pricing negotiations, and managing lead times - Monitoring order statuses, following up on delayed deliveries, and maintaining accurate records in ERP systems - Collaborating with production, inventory, quality control, and logistics teams for a smooth supply chain process - Assisting in sourcing new suppliers, evaluating their performance, and supporting cost reduction efforts - Staying updated on market trends influencing material availability and pricing Qualification Required: Your qualifications for this role should include: - Bachelor's degree - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills - Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines Additional Details: While 0 to 1 year of purchasing or procurement experience is preferred, freshers with excellent communication skills are also encouraged to apply.
