This strategy should align with the company's overall objectives and cost-saving targets. Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with vendors to secure the best prices and delivery terms. Continuously review and analyze procurement costs to identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining the desired quality standards. Implement measures to reduce procurement expenses without compromising quality and efficiency. Oversee inventory levels and ensure a steady supply of materials to meet production demands. Minimize stockouts and excess inventory by closely monitoring consumption patterns and production schedules. Collaborate with the quality control department to ensure that purchased materials meet the required specifications and quality standards. Address any quality issues with vendors promptly. Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance. Stay updated with market trends, industry developments, and innovations in synthetic resin materials and related industries. Use this knowledge to make informed decisions regarding supplier selection and material sourcing.
