Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to purchasing and supplier management. Your key responsibilities will include: - Verifying and reconciling purchase bills and contracts, as well as managing data related to supplier quotes. - Sourcing new suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitions. - Developing new vendor relationships and conducting ABC analysis to manage existing vendors effectively. - Handling vendor onboarding and offboarding processes. - Preparing MIS reports related to vendors and coordinating with them for follow-ups. You should possess the following qualifications: - Good communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders. - Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms in contracts. - Effective management skills to oversee various aspects of procurement. - Analytical skills to evaluate supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities. - Research skills and a proactive attitude to stay updated on industry trends and best practices. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the company may require proficiency in technical skills such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and attention to detail. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position suitable for freshers. The preferred educational qualification is a Bachelor's degree. The work location for this role is in person.
