Job Description

01. Responsible for overall material availability , inventory and cost objectives

02. Plan and issue PO to suppliers and coordinate supply to the workshop

03. Follow up and expedite with the suppliers

04. Perform supplier audit

05. Knowledge of steel, fabrication workshop consumable, castings and forgings procurement

06. Prepare monthly purchase report and support finance in scheduling of payments to the suppliers.

**Compliance and Documentation:**

- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier communications.

- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on procurement activities and performance.

Skills and experience

01. 07-10 years of experience in a production environment

02. Proficient in ERP

Qualification

Diploma/Degree in engineering

- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on shipbuilding or a similar industry.

- Proven track record of successful negotiations and vendor management.

- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
