Public Relations Officer - Male

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Public Relations (PR) Officer to join our hospital team. The PR Officer will be responsible for managing and enhancing the hospital's public image through media relations, internal and external communications, community outreach, and crisis management. This role plays a critical part in building trust with patients, staff, the media, and the community by ensuring consistent, positive communication aligned with our mission of delivering excellent healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to promote the hospital’s services and initiatives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and coordinate press releases, interviews, and media events.
• Manage crisis communication with sensitivity and accuracy to protect the hospital’s reputation.
• Organize and support community engagement programs, health fairs, and awareness campaigns.
• Create and manage content for internal newsletters, website updates, and social media platforms.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports on public perception.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare partners, community leaders, and government agencies

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in public relations, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Proven experience in media relations, content creation, and event coordination.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and patient confidentiality regulations (HIPAA compliance preferred).

Preferred:

• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare institution.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and public health initiatives.
• Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus.
