Public Relations Officer

A bold, confident, and socially aware PR & Media Executive to handle our public communication and brand presence. Should be energetic, fluent in Tamil and English, and capable of engaging confidently with the media, public, and internal stakeholders. Also represent the brand through YouTube videos and other digital platforms, sharing updates on our social initiatives, campaigns, and community activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, journalists, and media houses.

- Coordinate and manage press releases, feature stories, and interviews.

- Pitch brand stories and secure consistent editorial coverage in print and digital media.

- Represent the company confidently during public meetings, events, and CSR activities.

- Create and appear in YouTube and social media videos to communicate company updates, social cause campaigns, and brand stories.

- Write and edit engaging blogs, articles, and social media posts in Tamil and English.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute PR campaigns and CSR communications.

- Handle communications with shareholders, partners, and the general public in a professional manner.

- Track and report media coverage, and monitor public perception of the brand.

- Ensure alignment with company values, especially in promoting community and social responsibility initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Graduate / Postgraduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, or Public Relations.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Tamil & English (spoken and written).

- Confident on camera with a pleasant and professional personality.

- Strong networking and interpersonal abilities.

- Passionate about social causes and community initiatives.

- Creative writing skills - blogs, articles, and digital content.

- Experience in handling YouTube or other digital video platforms is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

- 3-7 years of experience in PR, Corporate Communication, or Media Relations.

- Experience in FMCG, Lifestyle, or CSR communication will be an added advantage.
