Public Relations Officer

As a Public Relations Officer (PRO) at our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's image and reputation. Your responsibilities will include crafting compelling brand narratives, building relationships with media professionals, coordinating press interactions and events, and monitoring industry developments to identify opportunities and risks. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and brand representation across various channels. Key Responsibilities: - Craft and communicate powerful brand narratives through press releases, media pitches, speeches, and other external communication formats. - Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media houses to enhance brand visibility. - Own the public-facing voice of the brand across various platforms and events. - Coordinate press interactions, media events, and coverage tracking. - Represent the organization at industry forums, exhibitions, and networking events to build relationships with key stakeholders. - Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and media strategies across campaigns. - Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and industry developments to proactively manage reputation. - Support awards submissions, thought leadership content, and reputation-building initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or External Affairs. - Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for storytelling. - Proven track record in media engagement and event coordination. - Strong interpersonal and networking abilities with both internal and external stakeholders. - Proficiency in media monitoring tools, CRM systems, and content management platforms. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
