Position: Proposal Writer with 5+ years of experience in the architectural/engineering consulting industry

A dynamic and growing civil engineering and land surveying consulting firm is seeking a highly skilled, convent-educated, and academically accomplished Senior Proposal Writer to support its business development efforts. This is a remote, flexible role ideal for someone who can transition from part-time to full-time based on performance and project load.

Position Summary

We are looking for a high-performing individual with excellent academic credentials, technical understanding, and strong business writing skills. The ideal candidate is fluent in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Microsoft Word (10/10 proficiency), and has a Master’s degree or higher.

Candidates must have attended a Convent or English-medium school and be confident preparing compelling proposals in the engineering, infrastructure, and surveying space.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-quality proposals, SOQs, and RFQ/RFP responses
• Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to integrate data and narrative content
• Ensure all submissions are compliant with formatting and submission requirements
• Maintain consistency in tone, branding, and messaging
• Manage and prioritize multiple proposals and deadlines independently

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal writing or business development within A/E/C or professional services
• Convent or English-medium school background is required
• Must have excellent academic credentials
• Top performers from high school and/or college are strongly encouraged to apply
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Master’s degree (MBA or technical field) preferred
• 10/10 proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe PDF tools; Adobe Illustrator is a plus
• Excellent command of English grammar, structure, and persuasive business writing
