This role requires a thorough understanding of applicable national & international standards, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of quality system standards and methodologies. Reporting to the project manager, in his/her position, he/she will be responsible for applying Auto CAD and Civil 3D knowledge on project work from conceptual design through to completion. The engineer will have to design the blueprints keeping in mind the preferences of both the organization and the beneficiaries. JOB OBJECTIVE:Will support all aspects of construction transformation through tailored support, activation of self-enabled tools and development of thought leadership to accelerate a design suitable for both the organization and beneficiaries. RESPONSIBILITIES:Preparing engineering design, documents and confirming specifications.Prepares engineering design by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprintsCreates feasibility study by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies, and assembling data.Must have hands on knowledge in AUTOCAD draw up blueprintsDetermines project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.Produces engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules.Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress, inspecting construction site, and verifying calculations and placements.Maintains operations by enforcing project and operational policies and procedures.Conduct comprehensive inspections of welding processes to verify compliance with international standards and regulationsApply extensive knowledge of quality system standards and methods to assess welding procedures and outputs.Document and communicate inspection findings, deviations, and recommendations for corrective actions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related concerns and implement improvements.Effectively manage inspection schedules and maintain accurate documentation. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor Degree in Engineering or in a relevant discipline.Full working knowledge of quality system standards and methods. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Proven experience as an architecture, civil engineer or on-site project management.Ability to work in fast-paced environment with strict deadlinesInternationally recognized certifications such as AWS or CSWIP for welding inspection.ASNT Level II certifications in MT, PT, UT & VT, RTFI.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
