About the Role

Prompt Engineer

This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience building AI-driven conversation flows, knowledge bases, system prompts, and prompt evaluation systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prompt Design & Optimization

• Write, refine, and optimize prompts for various use cases (voice agents, chatbots, content generation, workflows).
• Build structured system prompts, guardrails, and instruction hierarchies.
• Improve accuracy, tone, and reliability of outputs through iterative testing.

2. Agent Building & Testing

• Create conversational agents with domain-specific logic (customer service, sales, renewals, etc.).
• Test outputs across edge cases and ensure consistency in tone, language, and behavior.
• Implement fallback flows and constraints

3. Knowledge Base Structuring

• Convert unstructured content (documents, scripts, SOPs) into concise KB formats.
• Maintain and version-control knowledge bases for different clients or use cases.

4. Performance Monitoring

• Analyze generated outputs and identify failure patterns.
• Conduct A/B testing of prompt variations.
• Track metrics such as accuracy, hallucination rate, latency sensitivity, and prompt cost.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in prompt engineering, conversational AI, NLP, or related fields.
• Strong command over English language structure, tone control, and instruction writing.
• Experience with LLMs such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, etc.
• Ability to design structured prompts, reasoning flows, and personas.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
