Project Site Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Site Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in ensuring quality at solar MW scale project sites, including electrical sub-station installation, civil, electrical, and mechanical equipment installation.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Conducting Audits and Inspections : Conduct regular audits and inspections at project sites to ensure compliance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and QAPs (Quality Assurance Plans).

2.Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Equipment Installation : Ensure that all civil, electrical, and mechanical equipment is installed as per design specifications, SOPs, and QAPs.

3.Electrical Sub-Station Installation : Ensure that electrical sub-stations are installed and tested as per design specifications, SOPs, and QAPs.

4.Maintaining Records : Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, audits, and tests, as per the Quality Management System (QMS).

5.Implementing Corrective Actions : Identify and implement corrective actions to address any quality issues or non-conformities.

6.Collaborating with Project Teams : Collaborate with project teams, including construction, engineering, and procurement, to ensure that quality standards are met.

7.Ensuring Compliance with Quality Standards : Ensure that all quality standards, including ISO 9001, are met and maintained.

Requirements:

1.Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) .

2.2-4 years of experience in quality engineering , preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.

3.Strong understanding of quality management principles , including ISO 9001.

4.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

5.Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentand meet deadlines.

Nice to Have:

1.Certifications in quality engineering , such as CQE or CQA.

2.Experience with quality management software , including audit management and corrective action tracking.

3.Knowledge of solar MW scale project installation and commissioning , including electrical sub-station installation.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
