Brief Description about the Project

This study underline work in maternal and child health involving pregnant mothers, infants and school children, particularly addressing the nutrition during pregnancy and body composition in infants and school children.

Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical) [Trial Coordinator]

Preferred Qualifications: A postgraduate degree (Masters or PhD) in Public Health, Nutrition, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Experience: 3 Years Age Limit: 35 Years Salary: Rs. 72,800/- per month

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all trial operations across multi-centric trial sites, including participant recruitment, scheduling, and retention.

  • Coordinate and manage the field team, including nutritionists and phlebotomists, to ensure strict adherence to the study protocol.

  • Ensure data integrity by supervising collection and maintaining all essential study and regulatory documents.

  • Manage trial logistics, including the inventory and shipment of study supplies and biological samples.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Principal Investigator (PI), site staff, and ethics committees (IERB), preparing progress reports as needed.

Qualifications
  • A postgraduate degree (Masters or PhD) in Public Health, Nutrition, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience coordinating multi-centric clinical or community-based research trials.
  • Experience with participant recruitment, data management, and IERB/regulatory submissions.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • A thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and national ethical research guidelines.
