We are currently seeking a Project Program Management Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karntaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
This person will manage 2 small projects; Seamless Discounting & Promise to Pay and instalment plan enhancements. Consumer experience and some degree of understanding of Agile important
The Project Managers purpose is to define, plan and manage the deliverables for assigned initiative(s) or work-streams as part of larger project(s). Projects or initiatives managed are typically of a smaller size, the complexity is known, and they are delivered largely within a division. Ensures that the project or initiatives produce the required deliverables to the agreed standard of quality and within the specified constraints of cost, risk, and time
1. Typically manages smaller project budgets e.g., a central project budget of 1-5m
2. Identifies and manages key stakeholders
3. Develops and gains agreement to project plan; provides regular progress reports to key stakeholders
4. Implements and maintains a consistent project management methodology ensuring project conforms to appropriate governance including all project documentation
5. Manages all aspects of risk, issues, and contingency
6. Identifies dependencies with other business initiatives / activities
7. Determines, procures, and manages appropriate resources to deliver the project (functional or divisional team and a small number of third parties)
8. Manages all project communications
9. Provides support in contract negotiation
10. Leads and manages a virtual project team
Delivery Management skills. Comprehensive and strong skills in project management. Able to take decisions, assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks and can make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interest of the organisation.
1. Advanced interpersonal skills. Being able to relate well to others, to dictate responsibilities, to offer constructive feedback and to support and encourage others. Finds ways to motivate the team and earn their respect in order for them to work effectively and focused on delivery outcomes ensuring met deadlines with quality.
Can multitask, the ability to switch quickly between tasks and to think about the project on many different levels at once.
2. Strong enough commercial skills and experience to be able to develop and challenge costs and benefits in business cases.
Fosters teamwork, works cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and can make decisions that enhance organisational effectiveness.
3. Demonstrates the gravitas and courage needed to build relationships and convey authority in order to resolve conflicts and maintain direction.
Self-motivated and proactive in the working environment.
Strong resource management, financial management, and budget management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and be able to think quickly and adept about how to address problems as they come up and to learn from the issues so that the same problem do not arise again.
