Job Description

You will be responsible for Proposal/Offer making activities for various projects including EHV/HV/MV/LV switchyards/expansions, transformers, MV/LV panels, power/control/instrumentation cables, MV/LV busducts, switchyard, earthing BOM, lighting, CCTV, fire suppression systems, HVAC, SAS related projects, C&I related projects, site service activity projects, renewable energy projects, EV charging infra projects, and other new project avenues. This will involve studying Customer Inquiries, Tender Documents, and Technical Specification Documents to prepare BOQ/detailed scope based on enquiry documents/site visit inputs. You will review and prepare various electrical layouts and calculations like cable sizing, transformer sizing, load calculations, Short Circuit Calculations, earthing calculations, HVAC calculations, etc. Additionally, you will be responsible for Proposal/Offer making activities for MV/LV Extension Panels, Retrofit/Revamp & Refurbishment requirements within MV/LV Service Portfolio. You will also float all RFQs to Suppliers, Purchase/SCM Team, prepare Costing Sheet, negotiate with stakeholders, and ensure proper alignment with Sales Colleagues, Regional Promoters, and Service Engineers. Moreover, you will visit Customer Sites to understand project requirements, propose cost-effective solutions, demonstrate Siemens" prior experience, and support the Procurement Team during execution stage. You will drive various growth measures, demonstrate good people management skills, and possess a positive can-do attitude with an aptitude for hard work. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience with at least 10 years in Offering/Proposal/Tendering activities of projects/revamps - Highly Proficient with project-related technologies - Familiar with Manufacturing Processes/Material Standards, measuring and test equipment - Good communication skills & Customer orientation - Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office Tools The company, Siemens, is dedicated to equality and encourages applications that reflect the diversity of the communities they work in.
