Project Manager (with ERP, HCM, or Financial Systems focus)

Role Overview: As an Engagement (Project) Manager at Workday, you will play a crucial role in guiding customers through the deployment lifecycle, solution delivery, and issue management. You will collaborate with Workday Delivery leadership, consultants, and resource management to ensure a seamless customer experience during deployments. Your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of project engagements, both customer-facing and internal, and ensuring successful implementation of Workday products on various projects. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a portfolio of project engagements, including external customer-facing deployments and internal Workday engagements - Drive the client implementation process and contribute to key project deliverables such as project charters, staffing plans, and issue logs - Work with the Client project manager to resolve issues that may impact project success - Ensure projects are delivered within the budget and timeline specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) - Participate in the sales cycle to gather requirements, develop delivery approaches, and formulate proposals/SOWs - Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services resources working on implementations - Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings and promote Workday best practices to clients - Serve as a liaison between Professional Services, sales, and development teams - Identify opportunities for additional service offerings and ensure project compliance Qualifications Required: - Ability to handle multiple Workday product implementations concurrently - Proven track record of delivering projects within budget and timeline - Experience in formulating proposals, gathering requirements, and developing delivery approaches - Strong leadership skills to mentor and guide Professional Services resources - Excellent communication skills to resolve issues and present at executive meetings - Familiarity with change management processes and identifying opportunities for additional services Additional Company Details: Workday is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity, including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
