Project Manager

We at Viamagus Technologies are looking for a talented Project Manager who will be responsible for leading customer engagements to ensure that they meet all scope, time, budget, and quality expectations, through planning, controlling, and managing customer projects.

The role requires someone flexible and able to respond to a dynamic, demanding, and complex business environment. The candidate must be adaptable to work across multiple technologies and disciplines as well as time zones, with a focus on delivering quality solutions for the business in a timely fashion, and be able to prioritize work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and facilitating routines to support delivery –e.g., kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, etc.
• Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
• Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal
• Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverable completion and timeline
• Gathers status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership about delivery, risks/issues, project cost, and schedule
• Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
• Ensures deliverables comply with the company's standards
• Supports resource planning for delivery/execution
• Accountability and Ownership, and being self-sufficient to be able to work with minimum guidance

Required Skills And Experience:

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of project management experience
• Must have worked in a startup to manage projects.
• Fluent in spoken & written English
• Extremely good communication skills and the ability to present complex subjects to normal people with minimum cognitive load
• Superior communication skills, ability to navigate in a matrix management model, and influence across multiple organizational levels
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts & topics
• Ability to interact with business leaders, external vendors, and internal technology groups
• Understanding of or experience in the finance domain is an added advantage
• Strong relationship management and organizational skills, along with the ability to identify and prioritize workload
• Being an avid reader is an added advantage
• Willing and able to work after hours when required to support multiple time zones.
• Acts as the project subject matter expert to support delivery deadlines, governance routines, cross-project dependencies, and budget
• Formally manages change controls for scope, schedule, and budget targets to adhere to company policy
• Ability to effectively convey complex information concisely
• Experience with Agile and waterfall software delivery methodology

Desired Certificates

• PMP Certified and Certified Scrum Master desired

Tool Set Experience

• Experience with project management tools, such as JIRA and OpenProject.
