The opportunity:
The opportunity Hitachi Energy is looking for a Project Manager for the Business Unit Transformers to join our innovative and forward-thinking team in Indonesia. In this role, you will bring innovative projects to life and ensure their successful execution. You will work collaboratively with diverse teams to define project objectives and develop detailed plans to achieve them. By utilizing your expertise in project management methodologies, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality and safety standards. How you ll make an impact:
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve key objectives and milestones effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans in partnership with the Project Controls department, covering all critical aspects.
  • Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to Hitachi Energy policies and best practices throughout the lifecycle.
  • Monitor and control project financials, including invoicing, expenses, and cash flow while managing associated risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with contractual agreements and Hitachi Energy policies, overseeing procurement processes as needed.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for the customer, resolving project issues and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy s health, safety, and environmental policies within all project activities.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration to enhance team performance.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Living Hitachi Energy s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background:
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing medium-sized projects including commercial, contractual and team leadership aspects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
