Project Manager

The Project Manager drives delivery execution for the central Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, and SRE teams for IIFL Finance. The PM maintains a unified intake of platform-related requirements, including infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD templates, observability enablement, license procurement, and tooling requests.

The role plans sprints, tracks progress through Jira dashboards, documents outcomes, ensures timely closure of tasks, and manages budgets, license utilization, vendor coordination, resource planning, hiring-related processes, and overall execution of projects for the platform engineering practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a central requirement intake and backlog for platform requests across all IIFL businesses
  
• Collect requirements from internal teams for infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD templates, new tooling or licenses, monitoring dashboards, etc.
  
• Create and maintain a unified backlog in Jira for all incoming platform engineering requests
  
• Plan sprints, define milestones, track progress, and ensure work completion within agreed timelines
  
• Facilitate internal cross-team coordination across DevSecOps, SRE, Cloud/Infrastructure, Security, and vendors
  
• Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) and drive closure of pending actions
  
• Prepare delivery dashboards, weekly progress reports, and management updates
  
• Document key decisions, meeting outcomes, and design or implementation clarifications
  
• Track license usage, renewals, and budget allocations related to platform tools
  
• Work with leadership on resource planning, capacity forecasting, and new hiring requests
  
• Ensure delivery documentation (runbooks, configuration documents, timelines) is kept current

• Exposure to no-code / AI-assisted productivity for documentation or reporting (Jira AI preferred)
