Project Manager (Software)

As a Software Project Manager at Johnson Controls, you will oversee software projects from start to finish, manage and motivate software developers and team members, and ensure project execution meets deadlines and targets. Your role will involve planning software projects, creating budgets, overseeing testing and troubleshooting, and delivering completed software products to clients. Key Responsibilities: - Discuss potential projects with clients, executives, and software developers - Plan software projects, define scope, allocate resources, set deadlines, lay out communication strategies, and indicate tests and maintenance - Lead the development team in designing and delivering production quality code using Agile practices - Ensure projects stay on schedule and adhere to deadlines - Create and manage project budgets - Oversee testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of products - Interact with Product Owners and stakeholders for release planning and sprint goals - Track milestones, deliverables, and change requests - Act as a liaison to communicate project information to stakeholders - Deliver completed software products and perform performance checks Qualifications Required: - Project/Program Manager with experience in managing large programs and product delivery - Exposure to project management techniques and business-driven approach - Ability to identify business opportunities, estimate efforts/prices, and plan phase-wise delivery - Experience in project costing, budgeting, and resource allocation - Strong skills in defining and implementing processes - Proficiency in learning technologies such as HTML5, MVC.NET, Angular, Java query, and SQL Server - Knowledge of Software Development Methodologies (Scrum, Agile), project financial management, and Microsoft Stack (.Net Core, ASP.Net, VB.Net, Power Bi) - Familiarity with the latest trends in the Information Technology industry - Excellent communication skills,
