Job Description

Responsibilities

As a manager you are expected to lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff.

Oversee strategic planning and execution in digital business architecture

Maintain exceptional standards in project deliverables and timelines

Cultivate meaningful client relationships - Implement firm methodologies and technology resources

Identify and address client needs in digital business architecture

Foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation

Developing comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required. This includes defining tasks, milestones, and deliverables.

Allocating resources effectively, which includes assigning tasks to team members based on their skills and availability and ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support.

Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress, risks, and issues, and ensuring their requirements are accurately captured and addressed.

Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project. This involves continuous monitoring and proactive problem-solving.

Providing technical direction and support to the project team, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals and technical standards.

Ensuring that project outputs meet the required quality standards and specifications. This involves implementing quality control processes and conducting regular reviews.

Managing the project budget by tracking expenses and ensuring that the project is completed within financial constraints.

Tracking project progress against timelines and performance metrics, using tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, depending on the project needs.

Motivating and leading the project team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, and resolving any team conflicts or issues.

Handling changes in project scope or direction, assessing the impact, and communicating with stakeholders to get approval for changes.

Maintaining detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and records of meetings and decisions, to ensure transparency and provide a reference for future projects

Requirements:

- Experience in a technical role, such as software development, systems engineering, or IT management, which helps in understanding the technical aspects of projects.

- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).

Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple projects effectively

Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or PRINCE2 can be advantageous

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Expertise in a specific technology, programming language, or system architecture

Experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects or those with a global reach

Demonstrating your ability to think outside the box

Specific initiatives youve implemented to improve team performance or morale
