Role Summary
We are looking for a high-impact Project Manager who can drive end-to-end delivery of learning and education projects. The role requires strong grounding in learning methodologies, project and vendor management, and stakeholder engagement, combined with a sharp, proactive, and execution-oriented mindset.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, and leveraging advanced tools and emerging technologies (including GenAI and agentic solutions) to improve delivery efficiency and learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management
- Own end-to-end project delivery for learning and education initiatives, from planning to execution and closure.
Define project scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, risks, and success metrics. - Track progress using structured project management frameworks and tools, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
Learning & Methodology Orientation
- Work closely with Learning Design, Faculty, Content, and Technology teams to ensure projects align with proven learning methodologies (ILT, VILT, blended, digital, experiential learning).
- Ensure learning programs are outcome-driven, scalable, and aligned with client or learner expectations.
- Support continuous improvement by incorporating learner feedback and performance insights.
Vendor & External Partner Management
- Manage external vendors, content partners, technology providers, and delivery partners.
- Define SLAs, quality benchmarks, timelines, and cost structures.
- Ensure vendor performance, compliance, and alignment with NIITs quality standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders (business leaders, sales, academics, delivery teams, operations).
- Effectively manage client and partner expectations through clear communication, data-backed updates, and structured governance.
- Influence without authority and resolve conflicts to ensure project success.
Technology & Innovation Enablement
- Leverage advanced tools and platforms for project tracking, collaboration, analytics, and reporting.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of
GenAI, agentic workflows, automation tools, and emerging learning technologies
to improve productivity and learning effectiveness. - Partner with technology teams to pilot and scale innovative solutions in learning delivery and operations.
Process Excellence & Governance
- Establish and follow standardized project governance, documentation, and reporting practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality frameworks, data security, and contractual obligations.
- Drive process improvements to enhance speed, quality, and cost efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4-8 years of experience in project management, preferably in education, learning, EdTech, or training organizations.
- Strong understanding of learning methodologies and learning delivery models.
- Proven experience in vendor and external partner management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, etc.).
- Exposure to advanced technologies, including GenAI, automation tools, digital platforms, or AI-enabled learning solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel in a high-pressure environment.
- Smart, aggressive, proactive, and execution-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile / Scrum certification.
- Experience working with enterprise or large-scale learning programs.
- Familiarity with LMS, LXP, digital content platforms, and analytics dashboards.
- Exposure to change management and digital transformation initiatives.
