Job Description

JOB Responsibility:- Oversee requests for implementing new solutions, feature enhancements, bug fixes, operational reporting, and backlog items, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and milestones. Provide close support to both business and technology teams, ensuring alignment with project scope and timelines. Develop detailed project plans for multiple work streams and maintain a centralized tracker to log project issues, open items, dependencies, and risks. Ensure deadlines and handoffs are effectively managed throughout various SDLC phases. Assess, communicate, and mitigate risks, using contingency plans as needed to prevent issues. Provide on-site leadership to project teams, motivating members to achieve project goals and milestones. Report project progress in both detailed and high-level formats to stakeholders, including executives. Create and maintain project documentation, including steering committee presentations. Engage in strategic planning to achieve long-term efficiencies and success. Conduct retrospectives, gather feedback, and report on project success criteria and metrics. Lead regular meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate strategic decision-making and optimize solutions. Monitor project expenses, track against approved budgets, and alert stakeholders if any task/activity affects the critical path. Coordinate and manage RFPs from vendors, including scope reviews, cost-benefit analysis, and legal compliance assessments. Manage change order requirements as necessary, ensuring alignment with company standards. Take ownership of end-to-end project management activities, overseeing the entire project lifecycle. Develop a deep understanding of the companys business to drive effective solutions and initiatives. Report on project success criteria, metrics, and manage test and deployment activities. Ensure projects are delivered on time, meeting quality, compliance, legal, and technical standards. Develop change management documentation and communication plans for end-users. Create a detailed cutover plan for project Go-Live activities. Facilitate a smooth transition to the application support team, addressing any pending open items and issues. Perform other duties as assigned, which may include managing multiple projects. Essential Functions:- Must be able to work cooperatively and adaptively in a team setting. Must be able to work under pressure, multitask and produce high quality work in a deadline driven environment. Utilize computers, software systems, and tools to support internal and external partners. Effectively communicate in verbal and written form to collaborate with stakeholders to address issues Prioritize competing tasks to meet deadlines. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, even in ambiguous environments, as well as an attention to detail. Perform related responsibilities as assigned or required. Must be able to work irregular hours when required. JOB Requirement:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business (Marketing, Product Management, etc.), or equivalent work experience 8+ years of progressive experience scoping and managing functional and infrastructure projects within a consulting, media, or entertainment firm in a program/project manager role Proven ability to lead projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies Experience in creating and managing project budgets, including monthly forecasts, weekly tracking of expenditures, and comparing forecasts with actual spend to mitigate cost overrun risks Qualifications:- CSM and PMP Certification is a plus Proficiency in Smartsheet creating project plans with tasks and activities going up to 7 levels and 1000+ lines using advanced constraints and dependencies Proficient in writing Macros and complex formulas in MS Excel, creating 3D charts, and developing PowerPoint decks for executive reporting. Familiarity with Jira or similar tools for backlog grooming, managing user stories, bugs, fixes, and test results. Knowledge of Dayforce or other HRIS systems is preferred. Familiarity with Zoho or other CRM systems, and Sailthru or similar marketing applications is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or other ERP systems is preferred. Proficient in creating logical data models and process flows/maps using DrawIO, MS Visio, or other design tools. Experience working with and managing offshore/nearshore resources. Ability to perform fit-gap analysis by comparing business requirements with system capabilities. Proven ability to work with business stakeholders at all management levels to understand needs, gather functional and technical requirements, and translate them into Project Charters, Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and user stories. Strong background in organizing UAT, developing test plan templates, and coordinating issue resolution during manual and/or automated testing. Skilled in developing training plans and coordinating training for business users.
