The Project Manager will lead the delivery of a large-scale girls’ and women’s empowerment program focused on
STEM education, TVET certification, life skills, financial inclusion, and leadership
. The role ensures high-quality implementation, institutional coordination, and measurable outcomes for education-to-livelihood pathways.
Program Planning & Coordination
- Develop and manage integrated workplans for:
- STEM education (Grades 6–9)
- STEM Clubs
- TVET certification
- Life Skills, MHM, and Financial Literacy
- Coordinate with education departments, TEVTA, NAVTCC, financial inclusion actors, and community institutions.
Implementation Management
- Oversee:
- STEM clubs for adolescent girls
- TVET training for young women
- Life skills and financial literacy for girls and women
- Supervise field implementation teams and community mobilizers.
- Ensure inclusion of girls and women with disabilities.
Training & Capacity Development
- Oversee development of STEM modules and training materials.
- Supervise training of STEM communicators, teachers, and facilitators.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning
- Lead baseline, progress, and endline assessments.
- Track KPIs including:
- STEM learning gains
- Club participation
- TVET certification
- Financial inclusion
- Gender parity
- Produce learning briefs and impact reports.
Community & Gender Engagement
- Lead parental and community engagement on girls’ education, gender norms, and leadership.
- Strengthen male allyship and community ownership.
Financial & Compliance Oversight
- Oversee budget management, procurement, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with donor and organizational systems.
- Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Education, Gender Studies, Development, or Social Sciences.
- Atleast 5–7 years experience in:
- Girls’ education
- STEM or skills development
- TVET or livelihoods programming
- Proven experience managing donor-funded education and empowerment programs.
