Role Overview:

Marine Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation for marine construction works.
• Oversee the construction of jetty, breakwater, quay walls, dredging, piling, and related marine infrastructure.
  

• Technical & Site Management

• Supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with design consultants, survey teams, and subcontractors for technical alignment.
• Monitor marine construction equipment usage, such as barges, cranes, dredgers, and pile-driving machinery.
  

• Contract & Cost Control

• Manage project budget, monitor costs, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
• Review BOQs, contracts, and subcontractor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
  

• Stakeholder & Client Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and authorities.
• Conduct progress meetings, prepare reports, and provide regular project updates.
  

• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Enforce strict safety procedures in compliance with international marine construction standards.
• Ensure environmental sustainability in marine operations, particularly with dredging and breakwater construction.
  

• Team Leadership

• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, supervisors, and skilled labor.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site construction challenges.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors / Masters degree in

  Civil / Marine / Structural Engineering

  (or equivalent).

• 15 years+ of experience

  in marine construction, with proven track record in

  jetty, port, harbor, or breakwater projects

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  marine geotechnical works, dredging, piling, and breakwater construction techniques

  .
• Familiarity with

  international marine construction codes, dredging standards, and coastal protection guidelines

  .
• Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
