Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager Civil - Wind and Solar. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of civil engineering projects related to wind and solar energy. Day-to-day tasks include project management, budgeting, construction management, and ensuring that infrastructure projects are completed on time and within scope.

This role is based in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the civil engineering aspects of utility-scale renewable energy projects
• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets and cash flows
• xperience in Budgeting and managing project finances effectively
• Prepare technical documents including RFPs, bid evaluations etc.,
• Monitor quality, safety, and schedule performance during construction, resolve technical issues, collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Oversee and review site feasibility study, risk assessments
• Support procurement and contract negotiation for civil subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure proper documentation of as-builts and handover

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 2+ years in renewable energy
• Strong understanding of site development for renewable energy assets
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Office-based with regular travel to project sites.
