Description
Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading IT infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery, focusing on data center operations, cloud migrations, technology currency, and other relevant infrastructure initiatives. Your role will require a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and budgets to ensure timely and quality delivery within the specified budget. - Collaborate with IT, operations, and executive stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate project progress and risks effectively. - Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and manage project changes to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables. - Work closely with technical teams to ensure effective project delivery, including engineers, architects, and other project managers. - Conduct cost benefit analysis and manage budgets to ensure projects remain within financial constraints while delivering quality outcomes. - Establish OKRs and performance metrics to track project progress and success, generating status reports for stakeholders. - Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness. - Be familiar with IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - 10+ years of project management experience in the IT infrastructure space, including networking, data centers, cloud services, or other IT infrastructure components. - Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts and technologies, including servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and data centers. - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent highly desirable. - Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments.
