Job Description

The Project Lead role in Project and Development Services (Chennai / India) puts you at the forefront of project delivery. You will lead project teams, establish effective organizational structures, and ensure efficient project management by setting objectives and allocating budgets. Your responsibilities will include managing and monitoring projects from pre-design to completion, facilitating negotiations, analyses, and meetings with authorities. Building lasting client relationships is a key aspect of this role. You will focus on contributing to the company's growth by establishing strong business relationships with clients, understanding their needs, representing their interests, and retaining new business contacts within agreed time frames. As the face of the business, you will promote JLL throughout the project by showcasing our offerings to new prospects, local landlord clients, investor networks, and industry associations. Successful candidates for this role engage effectively with stakeholders, thrive under pressure, bring a structured and organized approach, communicate and collaborate well, and are exceptional leaders. Ideal candidates should hold a degree in a relevant property-related discipline with a minimum of 15 years of experience in design, construction, and project management. They should have a deep understanding of local codes and legislation, be effective decision-makers, strong communicators in Bahasa, English, and their native language, show initiative in fostering team contributions, and be proactive in identifying improvement opportunities.
