Description
As an Engineering Lead at Byond, you will have the opportunity to lead the design, development, and deployment of e-commerce marketplace solutions for a global leader in consumer technology. You will work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, UX, and Business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and plans, ensuring solution quality and alignment with long-term platform vision. Your responsibilities will also include owning the technical solution planning, conducting technical reviews, and staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, UX, and Business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and plans. - Lead the design, development, and deployment of e-commerce marketplace solutions. - Ensure solution quality, adherence to architectural standards, and alignment with long-term platform vision. - Own the technical solution planning, including technical roadmaps, dependencies, and integration strategies. - Conduct technical reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability. - Facilitate technical discussions, identify risks early, and propose mitigation strategies. - Act as the technical point of contact for cross-functional teams during project execution. - Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to keep our stack modern and competitive. **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years experience working in SAP Commerce Cloud platform. - Proven experience leading engineering teams in e-commerce or marketplace environments. - Solid understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud-native development. - Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for mentoring and team development. - Background in agile methodologies and product-centric development.
